Welcome Guest

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Aussie Turf Direct website. They are designed for an online, delivery-focused, supply-only model.

1. Definitions

"We", "us", "our" means Aussie Turf Direct. "You" means the purchaser.
"Turf" means a living, perishable lawn product supplied in slabs/rolls and sold by area (m2).
"Delivery" means delivery to the address provided at checkout.

2. Orders and acceptance

Orders are placed online only. Your order is confirmed when payment is received and you receive an order confirmation.
We may decline or cancel an order if we cannot supply, if the delivery address is outside our service area, or due to events outside our control (for example, severe weather affecting harvesting or transport).

3. Minimum order and product nature

Minimum order is 30m2 per checkout.
Turf is a living, perishable product. Colour variation, minor leaf variation, and seasonal appearance changes are normal.

4. Delivery

Delivery is available Monday to Saturday (subject to availability, weather and logistics).
Order cut-off times and next-day delivery availability (where offered) are shown on the website and may change based on capacity.
You must provide accurate delivery details, ensure safe access for delivery, and ensure someone is available if your site requires access or instructions.
If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, incorrect details, or unsafe conditions, additional re-delivery fees may apply.

5. Installation timing - critical condition

Turf must be installed within 12 hours of delivery.
If turf is not installed within this timeframe, the risk of heat stress and deterioration increases significantly and we may not accept claims relating to turf condition after delivery.

6. Site preparation and maintenance responsibility

Successful establishment depends on correct site preparation, timely installation and ongoing watering and maintenance by you.
You are responsible for ensuring the turf variety selected is fit for purpose for your site (including sun/shade conditions and intended use).
We provide general care guidance, but you remain responsible for following a suitable watering, mowing and maintenance program for your site and season.

7. Pricing, GST and payment

All turf is sold by square metre (m2). Prices are displayed on the website and may change without notice.

Delivery fees are displayed/calculated at checkout. GST is applied at checkout and shown separately.
We accept payment via the payment methods offered at checkout. Orders are not dispatched until paid in full.

8. Cancellations and changes

Because turf is harvested and scheduled for delivery, changes and cancellations are limited once an order is confirmed.
If you need to request a change, contact us as soon as possible via the website support channel. We will confirm if a change is possible.
If turf has been harvested or dispatch arranged, cancellation fees may apply to cover harvesting and logistics costs (subject to Australian Consumer Law).

9. Quality on delivery

We aim to supply turf in good condition on delivery.
ou must inspect turf on delivery and report any concerns within 24 hours, including clear photos of the turf as delivered and any labels.

10. Complaints, disputes and remedies

Our Complaints & Dispute Resolution Policy forms part of these Terms.
Where required under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for a major failure.
If a claim is valid, we may offer replacement turf, partial credit, or refund depending on circumstances and availability.

11. Exclusions and limitations (to the extent permitted by law)

We are not responsible for issues arising from delayed installation, poor base preparation, incorrect watering, or traffic damage during establishment.
We are not responsible for weeds germinating from your soil or surrounding areas after installation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes non-excludable rights under Australian Consumer Law.

12. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, supplier disruption, or equipment failure.

13. Website use

You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with site operation.
Content may not be copied or reused without permission.

14. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including information used to process orders, delivery, and customer support.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
